Have you ever been in a situation where you stay up late one day, even if you have passed the night, but you don't feel sleepy, and you can't sleep even if you want to sleep. So do you know what this is all about?

In fact, this is because the dopamine secreted by the brain on the first day stimulates the body and provides more energy and excitement on the second day. Since the body does not get the sleep it deserves, our physiology and spirit are in a very tired state. At this time, the brain as the "leader" will find that its "soldiers" need food. And this "food" is the familiar Dopamine (Dopamine).

Dopamine is a chemical substance used to help cells transmit pulses and is a type of neurotransmitter. This kind of conductive substance is mainly responsible for the brain's desires, feelings, and the transmission of excitement and happiness. It is also related to addiction. Therefore, staying up once in a while can not only keep us "combat" the next day, but also make us feel happy and satisfied more easily. The student party often has this experience: staying up late to review before the exam, but when the exam is full of energy, the result is good; there are also many people who can still go to class and work the next day after karaoke or partying all night. All this is due to dopamine.

but! Don't be too happy too soon!

Is it enough to be spirited and happy? In fact, this is a mechanism that makes the human body become negative. Once this condition persists for a long time, the human body's function will be disordered. Only occasionally staying up late can make you happy, but staying up too long will not provide the body with excitement from the secretion of dopamine. Instead, it will make people old and tired overnight.

Scientists have done experiments with two white mice. One has a regular schedule, and the other is kept in a dark room during the day and illuminated with a fluorescent lamp at night to make it live through the day and night. The two sleep times are the same, and the lifespan ratio of the two is 2. : 7. In other words, if a person whose life expectancy is 70 years old has stayed up every day from birth without interruption, he can only live to 20 years old in the end.

So, if you are used to staying up late, how can you return to your normal routine?

Many people are used to staying up late, even if there is no special thing to do, they still go to bed very late. If you want to resume work and rest, you can refer to the following two-day recommendations:

1. If you stay up late is not too serious, if you go to bed at 4 in the morning and start at 2 in the afternoon, then find that you only sleep for four hours a day, and insist on not going to bed until the next morning.

2. If you are in a serious condition, such as going to bed at 8 or 9 in the morning, starting at 4 or 5 in the afternoon, find a day to stay until noon, sleep as long as you can sleep, try to get up at one or two midnight, and then persist for nearly 24 hours, or early in the morning Sleep on time.

Remember, no matter which method you use, you must go to bed before and after punctuality, not 8 or 9 in the evening, not 3 or 4 in the morning, because the former will make you wake up after only three or four hours of sleep. "Then continue the confusion, the latter will let you return to the previous state.

Only by insisting on going to bed early and waking up early every day can you truly be energetic, young and energetic!
